ABOUT THE PROGRAM Jesus First faith based hypertension program by Andre Neita is a Christ centered health education program for African Americans. The twelve week program is focused on spiritual empowerment, health awareness, wellness and disease prevention. The prgram includes an educational curriculum about the effects and side effects of medications and the importance of taking medications as ordered by the physician. The program reinforces medication and dietary compliance and gives instructions on behavior modification and lifestyle adjustments as it relates to hypertension.
Healing Hypertension, A Guide For African Americans and The Dash Diet Plan for African Americans will be offered to African Americans not interested in healing hypertension with the Jesus First based hypertension program.
