Jesus First Inc. Health Ministry center will support the mission and goal of Jesus First Inc. by providing the African American community access to Jesus first faith based hypertension program and supportive services.

Jesus First faith based hypertension program by Andre Neita is a Christ centered health education program for pre-hypertensive and hypertensive African Americans.The Twelve week program is focused on spiritual empowerment, health awareness and disease prevention. The program includes an educational curriculum about the effects and side effects of medications and the importance of taking medications as ordered by the physician. The program reinforces medication and dietary compliance and gives instructions on behavior modification and lifestyle adjustments as it relates to hypertension.

The services provided at the health ministry center are not substitutes for pastoral care, medical care, community health nursing or social agencies, but rather works as appropriate in collaborative efforts with these disciplines.
